Dental Check ups

A regular check-up is recommended every 6 months to assess the condition of the teeth and oral soft tissues. Early detection of diseases in the mouth means treatment can begin early on to avoid further damage down the track. This consequently will also save on treatment expenses! Our dentists and oral health therapists will help you achieve and maintain healthy teeth and gums when you attend regular check-ups and follow a good home oral hygiene regimen. When you visit us, we will have a chat so we know what you want for your mouth. We’ll have a close look in your mouth at the status of your teeth and gums and we may need to take some x-rays. Then we will discuss options to create a comprehensive treatment plan for you. We currently offer free exams to all new patients across both of our dental clinics! There will be costs involved for any necessary treatment or x-rays which may assist with clinical findings and diagnosis.

We offer free check-ups for the whole family
across both of our dental clinics!

Dental Fillings

Dental fillings help to restore the function and shape of teeth affected by decay or trauma. There are different types of filling materials such as composite resin, glass-ionomer cement, and amalgam. Your dentist can discuss these with you and choose the best one or combination of materials for your tooth, based on extent of decay, aesthetic need and durability! When a large portion of tooth is missing, it usually needs something stronger, so we replace the missing tooth structure with a material which is designed like a piece of puzzle that fits into your tooth.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal therapy involves the process of removing the infected nerve from the offending tooth, carefully cleaning, re-shaping and disinfecting the canals and filling them with a permanent root filling to seal off the root system from bacteria in the mouth.

Kids Dental

As a general guide, when your child turns 2 should first visit a dentist. This is to get your child used to the dental chair, a visual inspection of all their teeth and give you information to get them into healthy routines and habits!
Your child, if aged between 2 and 17 years, may be eligible to access a benefit cap of $1000 over two calendar years, which can be used on a range of services including:
  • Examinations
  • X-rays
  • Teeth cleaning
  • Fissure sealing
  • Root canals
  • Extractions

Bring your Medicare card to your next
appointment so we can check if your child is eligible!
